THE GUIDE ISTANBUL The Guide Istanbul was launched in November 1991. The Guide Istanbul is published in English and is distributed every 2 months as follows: January/February March/April May/June July/August September/October November/December Sales/Distribution/Circulation 25,000 copies of each issue of The Guide Istanbul is published and distributed – with a portion being sold and the remainder distributed as complimentary copies. The Guide Istanbul is distributed by Dünya Süper Dağıtım and is sold throughout Turkey with an emphasis on sales in Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and its surrounding cities. Besides newsstands, The Guide Istanbul is sold at all major bookstores (D&R, Remzi Kitabevi, etc.) and major hypermarkets and supermarkets throughout Turkey (Migros, Carrefour, Macrocenter, Gima, Real, Tansaş, etc.) Complimentary copies of The Guide Istanbul are given to hotels that advertise to place in their guest rooms. The major hotels that advertise are: Ansen Suites, Ceylan InterContinental, Crowne Plaza Istanbul, Çırağan Palace Hotel Kempinski, Divan Istanbul, Hilton Istanbul, Hyatt Regency, Radisson SAS Bosphorus Istanbul, Radisson SAS Conference & Airport Hotel Istanbul, Ritz Carlton Istanbul, Swissôtel The Bosphorus, Istanbul, The Marmara Istanbul and The Point Hotel among others. Complimentary copies of The Guide Istanbul are distributed to the individuals on our Protocol List which includes executives of major corporations, Turkish & foreign diplomatic officials and advertising agencies throughout Turkey and abroad. Complimentary copies of The Guide Istanbul are distributed in the Business Class Lounge of THY (Turkish Airlines) at Atatürk Airport. Target Audience/Reader’s Profile The Guide Istanbul’s target audience is: 1) foreigners living in Istanbul, 2) foreigners visiting Istanbul, and 3) English speaking Turks. Subscriptions The Guide Istanbul can also be obtained via subscription. Our subscribers are made up of foreigners as well as Turks. Besides Turkey, we currently have subscribers in the Arab Emirates (Dubai), Australia, France, Greece, Holland, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Spain, The UK and Switzerland.
